Welcome to my site

My name is Paweł (Paul) Jackowski. I am a graduate of the Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz with Diploma in Computer Science. I have a very strong academic background. During my studies I have specialized in web and software development. After studies I kept going in that direction and I successfully improved skills took part in freelance projects.

Currently I am a Software Development Engineer in international company with office in Cork.

I am proficient in, but are not limited to: C/C++, PHP, OpenLaszlo, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SEO technics. I am open source fan with strong background in Linux environment. Also I enjoy work with BSD or other UNIX based systems. I am familiar with principles of "Agile software development" methodology.

I am eager to be given a flexible role where I can gain further knowledge, experience and strengthen my technical skills.
